We leverage our years of experience in production and mixing to skillfully craft, polish and enhance your tracks and elevate your music to new heights. We use carefully selected tools to achieve a mix that sounds exciting, detailed, punchy and alive. Each stem or track in your song is processed and positioned perfectly in the stereo or immersive field. It no longer matters where you live... remote tools have made it possible to have your tracks mixed by a professional team who are also musicians, and are passionate about making great records. We can't wait to meet you and hear about your project! We constantly monitor trends in sound and develop our techniques to stay on the bleeding edge of music so that we can deliver the modern, crisp and thick mixes with as much emotional impact possible, of course with much communication during the revision process to achieve any twist or flair that you may prefer.
Mixing music is more than just balancing the relative levels of individual elements. The art of music occurs at the intersection of two domains: One domain is music theory; the notes of the melody, the rhythm and harmony, their arrangement's form, the tempo, scale, mode, etc. The other domain is in the sonics; ie. the instruments chosen to play the notes, the types and degree of compression, panning placement in space and soundstage, and the strength and type of distortion and saturation in the signal. The sonic domain is what mixing concerns itself with. Attributes of music serve to congregate sub-populations of humans (commonly referred to as "genres" by record labels), and these sub-populations are extremely particular experts on the levels of compression and saturation that they favor. We take time to study and keep up on the preferences unique to each genre of popular music. We use classic and time-tested techniques combined with bleeding edge workflows to develop our book of styles and approaches to arranging sound. It is quite technical practise, but it becomes art when applied in service of amplifying the emotional arc of music and its impact on the listener.
Our MTRX interfaces through Genelec monitoring coupled with AVID Eucon control surfaces make the technically challenging aspects of working in Atmos fun. We have at our disposal most of the great in-the-box tools available, as well as choice outboard hardware for exquisite tones and characterful saturation that is so important to a cohesive Atmos mix.
We are able to mix in Atmos from your Pro Tools or Logic Pro session, as well as with the Dolby Atmos Mastering Suite.

Q: What is the difference between "Stems" and "Tracks"?
A: "Stems" refers to mixed down groups of tracks, for example the "Drum" Stem is typically a stereo mix of kick, snare, toms and overhead tracks. The "Rhythm Guitars" stem is typically a stereo bounce of all the guitars that fit the criteria in the name. The term "Tracks" refers to the individual tracks that make up the stem. Stems are included with all mix packages.
